Poor Alex and Lorna! I was never that into them, so it's very possible that I missed some significant stretches where they got to be happy (if possibly offscreen) or get more non-possessed character development or whatever, but my recollection is that they tended to show up juuuust long enough to be like "at last, some peace and quiet, and time to connect with my beloved!" and then WHAM, one or both of them would get possessed or yanked off to space or whatever.
...I realize that I have just described the life experience of being an X-Man. But it did seem to me that they either got less downtime, or got more comprehensively shoved offscreen during it.
